About the Crestview Pool Association
Crestview Pool was constructed in 1955 and the Association was established on June 19, 1956. CVPA generally operates as an informal community pool. The Association usually has about twenty five (25) member families, of which the majority member families have children or grandchildren of varying ages who periodically use the Pool.
The 50' x 25' Pool is situated at 200 Crestview Drive (at the junction of Crestview Drive and Crestview Terrace) and provides quiet enjoyment and strong sunshine throughout the swimming season. The Pool also has the use of a natural gas heating system, which is used primarily only during the months of May and September/early October. Depending on seasonal weather conditions, the Pool is open from approximately late April until early October. During the primary swimming season, the water temperature averages approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Unlike many other community pools, the emphasis is on family swim and individualized peaceful swimming. Therefore, there is currently no organized Member community activities or swim team.
Due to the comparatively small membership number, Members generally find themselves having the Pool "peacefully all to themselves" for varying periods of time. Members can periodically and on a limited basis invite guests, provided the Member is also present. The pool has no dedicated lifeguard or management presence, and each Member is issued a key.
At this time, no regular professional Pool care or maintenance is retained. The emphasis is on rotating Member efforts to maintain, clean, and operate the pool within the annual dues structure.
The pool's depth gradually increases over the length from approximately 3' to 9+' (diving board end). There is a parking lot adjoining the pool with plenty of parking (approximately 10 vehicles.)
